You were right the first time, Kenny dope did sample it, (it sounds identical) for "Can You Handle It" The main break is smapled by Dynamo Productions in "Showtime"

yes, this song has a loud and maybe un-funky guitar, despite that it has a superfunky drum break at the beginning which is a bit different to the chester randles version

The Audio clip is actually Chester Randle's Soul Senders - Soul Brother Testify ANLA (AL-102).

Not to be confused with...

Original Soul Senders - Soul Brother Testify b/w Sweet Potato Mash ANLA (AL-115). This version is different from the above. It's only a 1 parter and has a really loud and un-funky guitar solo throughout.
