In addition to "Hip Hug-Her", Booker T. Jones also had another record on the Barfly soundtrack. Although performed by Albert King, "Born Under a Bad Sign" was in fact co-written by Jones. Both records were linked inextricably to Atlantic for distribution and licensing purposes but appeared on Stax.

Steve Cropper - guitar
Booker T. Jones - organ, bass guitar, guitar, keyboards
Donald "Duck" Dunn - bass
Al Jackson, Jr. - drums
