The track was also sampled for many old school and new school hip hop tunes like Bush Babees ( The Love Song + Jazzy on the Mix) Eric B and Rakim (Musical Massacre), Everlast (Syndicate Soldier), Grandmaster Flash (Shes Fresh), Ice T (Power), Jungle Brothers (On the Run), Nuyorican Soul (Mind Trips), Rob Base + DJ EZ Rock (Check this Out), Ultramagnetic MCs (Make it Happen + Watch me now) ...just to mention a few...

The recent 12" reissue of this track is definitely a legit RCA/BMG release, and not a bootleg. Most (if not all) of the Jimmy Castor Bunch catalog was originally released on RCA. This is a great 45, but I would recommend getting the entire LP of the same name. It is a 100 percent beginning-to-end funk masterpiece, and it's not difficult to find an affordable original pressing!

recently re-released in 2002 on 12" by RCA BMG ref#0786365118-1 with "Troglodyte" on the flip. Not sure , but if it is a bootleg it is very well done. Super Fresh B-Boy music
