The Caprells were to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania what the Jackson 5 were to Gary, Indiana. However, the name of the family behind The Caprells is Dixon. Glen Dixon Sr., writer and arranger of most of the group's music, passed away in early 2006. The Dixons helped put the Hazelwood neighborhood of Pittsburgh on the map. The complete artist listing for both sides of the 45 is The Caprells with The Sul Brothers Band. Due to the fast break the record has become a favorite in the b-boy subculture, and a short video of people breakdancing to "Close Your Eyes" can be found under the heading "L10 Plus One Vs Knuckleheadz" on Youtube.

A funky take on Duke Ellington's Caravan, apparently. Flip side is Walk On By.
