This is actually on the full length lp of "The Music Of El Topo" though it doesn't show up too often! Some of the other cuts are great too! This track(at least on the LP) has a nice crunchy drum break about 5 minutes in! Recorded in San Francisco at CBS studios. Released on the Douglas label out of New York.
Arranged and conducted by Martin Fierro. Some musicians include: Eddie Adams, Ken Bazell, Hadley Caliman, Jack Dorsey, Luis Gasca, Jackie King, Jerry Love, Mel Martin, Frank Morin, Ivory Smylie, Roger 'jellyroll' Troy, Howard Wales, Peter Walsh, and Jymm Young. Music adapted from a late 60's Psychedelic film, "El Topo". Lots of talented Bay Area musicians featured here...

From the album 'El Topo' (Douglas #6).

Only released as a 45 (I think) as part of the 'Smoke' Douglas sampler (ref AS71008), alongside 'South Side Strut' by Howard Wales and Jerry Garcia.
